Students during a ground school lesson in the classroom at Aero Club Belluno

You don’t just take a licence here: you learn to fly.

What We Teach

Our flight school (IT.DTO.012) offers complete training courses for aspiring pilots, guided by qualified instructors in a safe and stimulating environment. You start from nothing and go as far as you want to go: some stop at their first licence, and some, a few years later, find themselves landing on a glacier.

DTO IT.DTO.012 — a school approved by ENAC, the Italian civil aviation authority, for pilot licences and ratings.
VDS school no. 149-AECI — recognised by the Aero Club d'Italia for microlight certificates.

The only school in Italy
An aeroplane on approach to a sloping mountain airstrip

Mountain Flying

Since 1999 our Powered Flight School has been training pilots for the MOU rating (EASA FCL.815), and at the beginning of 2026 it is still the only school in Italy to offer this discipline. You learn to land safely on sloping strips, on snow and on ice, and to reach places that no road will ever reach.
